Hi guys, yes i'm working with the youtube app built from scratches with the new api and the left sidebar, i just need support to write the code...seems working in ios 3.1. The point is that we can not only write the code but also make a working ios 3.1 video player (integrated in the app). Not sure we can use the new youtube app with the old video player (the one in the system). Can i have help by someone that can write the code?

Unfortunately i need to buy the new screen for the ipod touch 2G MB, so for now i can only test with the simulator.

Yes, you must use theos. I've used xcode for this youtube app but only for the purpose of debugging (i don't know to debug with theos ). To make the sidebar you have to use https://github.com/jamztang/JTRevealSidebarDemo but only https://github.com/jamztang/JTRevealSidebarDemo/tree/master/JTRevealSidebar seems to work on ios 3 (whited00r) and this is an example https://github.com/jamztang/JTRevealSidebarDemo/tree/master/JTRevealSidebarDemo. Then to access the videos on Youtube you need to use the Google Data APIs Objective-C Client Library (look here this works: https://github.com/hoishing/GData-iOS-Static-Library-1.12 ). The only problem is the video player: to play flash videos someone should make a video player with codecs FFMPEG based on C++ (this works but without audio: https://github.com/lajos/iFrameExtractor ).

This project is'nt left. I need support because I can't do much working alone. Maybe I can share this with other developers, so they may complete this. Hi everyone, I'm trying to implement a new app youtube, using theos (not xcode this time). It seems to work really well.
But you have to wait 3-4 months this time for the release date, I don't have enough time.

Using Whited00r 5.2.1 seems to crash after having asked for the pin code. Nice work however.
