Great! Can't wait for it! I was wondering how you did this though, can you explain what you did to create this method?

I think I know where you are going with this. I would say just try and find out. Good Luck ^^

I'm using an iPhone 3G on kikokoko's CFW. It's on iOS 4.2.1. That was the first boot after I changed the file. After that, the boot went much faster. It's about 30 seconds now. I've also noticed a huge RAM increase. When I clear the multitasking bar, I have around 50-65. When I free up memory from SBsettings, I have 65-80. I also want to point out that I don't have Virtual Memory.

I am testing this out as I am posting this. Looks good so far, but when I reboot device, it took very long (5 minutes) and it scared me... Now that I am in the system, it looks very fast. Apps load faster, games are smoother. I love this. Thanks again for your hard work!

Try this with the CFW and see if it speeds it up anymore. http://www.whited00r.com/forum/index.php?topic=5387.0
That is exactly what I did. Doesn't make it a lot faster, but applications load faster and become more playable. Thanks.

OMG! This truly does overclock the device. When I play temple run, I don't find anymore lag. As well as some other games like NBA Jam. One thing I want to point out is that Temple run sometimes gets unresponsive. For example, when I jump, it jumps like a second later. That is like the only downside to this. Well done IGamer. Thanks!

I just did it... I don't notice a big difference, but I will give more feedback as I find some improvements.

Great to hear! I can't wait!

This thing made my device so much faster! I tried it on the CFW which was supposed to be a Redd00r replica. Works so nicely!

Thanks a lot!

I have been using this custom firmware for about a week and I love it! It is amazing!
For the people who are unclear what the opengles trick is, just copy the opengles-1 line...
Code: [Select]
<key>opengles-1</key>
<true/>
and paste it to the last last line (underneath wifi). After that edit it from opengles-1 to opengles-2....
Code: [Select]
<key>opengles-2</key>
<true/>
A few things I did to make the device even faster was download Springtomize and turn off a few features. It works amazingly and makes it crazy fast. I would say it is faster than Whited00r 5.1. Also I love the battery increase and iOS 4 features.
