How To's - Archive / Siri on unsupported 5.0 devices [No External Servers]

Sup guys, I just found a way to put siri on ALL UNSUPORTED iOS5 devices.

iPhone 3gs, iPhone 4, all iPad and iPod touch models that support the instillation of Spire
Fw 5.0, 5.0.1 CONFIRMED

NO IPHONE 4S!!!!!!!




1. Install Spire
2. Reboot device
3. Install AssistantServerInstaller
4 Reboot Device
5. Go the settings<spire and enter this in the proxy settings: https://localhost:4443
6. Activate Siri: Settings > General > Siri and tap on the switch to enable it.
7. Go to the springboard and hold down the home button to use siri
8. Say Hello Siri

*WARNING*

Activator DOES CONFLICT with spire!!!!
Disable all activator methods involving the home button that you manually set.

SPIRE MAY TAKE A WHILE TO FUNCTION PROPERLY
AND ON THE FIRST USE WILL TAKE ABOUT 10-20 second to give a response
You may get the,"Error can not connect to server ATM" just use try again. It DOES work!!

I once brought you a tutorial on how to install notification center on 3.1.3
Now i will tell you how to install siri on your unsupported devices

*** This DOES require winterboard***

1. Open Cydia and type ESRA and install
2. Open Cydia and install the siri theme for ESRA

I believe we can use some on FinkMac's UI images to manually theme this if you don't have a retna desplay device

Well it's finally here!
Whited00r v5.1 for the 3G and 2G iPhones. Should be out for other devices shortly.

Please download Normal release if you can legitimately activate you device via iTunes AND you don’t need carrier unlock.
If you don’t need carrier unlock there could be two possibilities: or your device is factory unlocked (as Italian iPhone 3G) or you are using the iPhone with the official carrier that sold you the device.
All other users should choose Unlocker firmwares because they need carrier unlock. Whited00r Unlocker firmware works perfectly on iPad Baseband 6.15.00.

If you are not sure use Unlocker firmwares (but if you really don’t need carrier unlock, using the normal release is better).
Unlocked firmware need a Push-Notifications patch after the installation.

You baseband will not updated during whited00r installation, so you can preserve your unlockable baseband.

Go ahead and look up Spire! It's a siick app that installs siri to any iDevice that runs iOS5. I installed it and it works perfectly. Its a free community package from Cydia and it's not a nock off Siri its the real thing. It works untill the part where you have to input a proxy for siri to work. TastyCorn. It will save you alot of work if you can just use this and make a workable proxy.
