If the problem started after you dropped it then you most likely will need to take it to Apple/get the parts replaced. I'm afraid that something might be damaged.

iFile doesn't handle video playback well in my opinion. I also have trouble with playing video files with my device. iFile usually crashes or hangs.

So i'm trying to fix my old iphone 3GS new BR
Both home and power buttons are broken and I restored to a fresh 6.1.6 and set up as a new iPhone. I then jailbroke with redsn0w but had use use a custom IPSW to boot into DFU because of the broken buttons. However I forgot to select ios 6.0 and its now stuck on downloading jailbreak data. I cannot restore in iTunes because I get error 21 and I can't boot tethered because I can't enter DFU because I can't restore in iTunes. Any ideas??

Headphone is most likely hardware. Did you setup as a new device?
