Title: When will Whited00r be based on 4.2.1 or support the iPod 2G MC model
Post by: JustinCase on November 23, 2013, 06:14:16 PM
I've noticed that alot of people use this board to ask when Whited00r will support the iPod Touch 2G MC model or when we will begin basing our firmware on 4.2.1.

To be crystal clear. The answer is never. The iPod 2G fixed a bootrom exploit that Whited00r requires to be installed. And most Whited00r supported devices do not support iOS 4.2.1. If you request this in the future you will recieve this same respose or a link to this thread.

The answer is soon it has been announced on twitter ;)

The bootrom exploit is easily fixed by simply adding steacks4suce (might be mispelled) and then it supports MC :p

No, it wasn't said on twitter it would be soon or anything like that ;)  It just said that it was being tested and was successful aside from it couldn't be rebooted (in terms of major bugs).  No promises were made, nothing said about soon (that's relative anyway).
