Title: iPhone 4 iOS 7 - Blur effects
Post by: david1990 on December 03, 2013, 01:05:03 PM
Hello guys ;)

Well, I know this is nothing to do with thing that people usually post on this forum, in fact, I think the forum is not for this type of questions but, I think you guys are the perfect people to answer this question.
My question that you might know already know, is, how do I get the blurred effects on the iPhone 4 ? Can I get them by doing a backup on ITunes and ten via iBackupBot or such, edit a string of the backup to get this effects ? Because I would like to experience them in my older iPhone, they look so good in the iPhone 5S :(
I appreciate your answers :)
Also, it doesn't bother me if it will be slow, I have that in mind, but I think it will not get that slow ... Or maybe they will.

I'm thinking it would require a jailbreak to enable those effects :(  I could be wrong though as I don't have an iPhone 4 ;)

I know there is a jailbreak for the iPhone 4, but I don't think there is anything to enable the blur yet though.

Even if it's jailbreakable, substrates are broken on ios 7 :p

People need to cycript the code (a tool by Jay Freeman @saurik)

Thanks for the reply ! :D
Oh :( there's a way of it for sure ... But I saw people around saying that blur effects probably are not activated  by string edits ... They say than most probably we have to get the blur layers from Idevices who support them. What means we have to have a jailbroken iPhone 4S+ :(
