The comma gave an error when I was trying to make the deb file. (dpkg -b filename)

When installing the deb file, there was a message that something went wrong with the postinst file. Whenever I start Cydia after that, I get the message that the install is incomplete, and that i should be uninstalled (or ignored once, but this is not a good option, because you will get this message every time when starting cydia). Cydia marked this install as uncomplete, because something went wrong with the postinst file.

A bug that i found (didn't look into your code to fix it)

this line is added:
Depends: com.bcooperizcool.ch40s-launcher, com.bcooperizcool.sudo, com.ericasadun.utilities, firmware (<< 4.0),

BUT... it should be without the comma at the end.

also, there is something wrong with the postinstall file. I did the command myself and change a file (/private/var/lib/dpkg/status, took me a while to figure that out :p) to stop Cydia complaining about a broken installation.

After those two fixes, everything goes fine.

I think it does, but mainly battery.   And simpler, just try

Code: [Select]
launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.something.somethingelse.plist
and use load instead of unload to re-enable it.
ok, thanks.  :)

I disable ssh (to have more free ram, and it's more secure). If I want to use ssh, I can simply run a script to enable it.

I put the scripts here.
Put the scripts in var/mobile
Copy /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.openssh.sshd.plist to /private/var/mobile/Resources/com.openssh.sshd.plist (DO NOT FORGET THIS. If you don't do this, you can not re-enable it anymore!)

Use terminal to use the scripts:
Code: [Select]
su
alpine (or another password if you changed the default password)
./sshOFF or ./sshON

After the script is done, springboard restarts. This might not be enough to enable or disable ssh. If it doesn't work, reboot your device to apply the changes.

The scripts are based on the already available sccripts in whited00r

You forgot to add the images.

iOS optimised version:
http://www.mediafire.com/?7b28vgmdz8aw0gx

I don't know if it is faster.

How did you modify it? What did you change? Because the contents of the file is the same as the file i have on my ipod touch...

11
It's actually the same file that is already on my iPod Touch...

@eoit
actually, I would advise deleting te folders and images that are for games.   Only keep the ones that are not in any other package (eg, Cydia, other tweaks)  I forgot to mention it would be best to run ok a fresh restore, sorry :(
I deleted the folders of the games, and also delete the nemes of those folders in the two files (locations andimageslocations). I compressed it using your "image" script. After that, I saw that there were only half the images left. I don't know what happened.
I will try it again later.

I used your script to find all the images, but the total size is almost 500MB! :o
It looks like all the images of every game is included too. Is it safe to compress them too?

And if it is, can you tell me how to make a .deb files? (because it would take a very long time to upload all the images)
