Try downloading a carrier package from Cydia.

My phone is 2G whited00r, T-Mobile USA.

After CommCenter change, I could send pictures, but could not receive due to size error.

So, I had to install the T-Mobile iOS4 MMS Fix from the cydia.xsellize.com repo. Now I can send and receive MMS.

I'm currently trying to enable MMS on my Iphone2G running WD4.4.1, on AT&T.
I manage to get the option of enable-ling the mms option under messages, but i cant send or receive any mms.
Any ideas of how i can fix this?
Thanks.

For whatever reason this isn't working for me. I've got it set to the Read, Write, Execute/Read, Execute/Read, Execute and it's not working at all.  I've tried everything.  Can anyone help? I also haven't tried the configurator script since I don't know what the configurator is but I did use the file you uploaded and replaced my original one.

I finally have a repeatable process to get MMS to work on a 2G with T-mobile prepaid:
1. Install iPhone1_1_whited00r441U.zip   (WD 4.4.1 Unlocked for 2G)
2. Install the 2G prepaid ipcc from http://modmyi.com/forums/t-mobile/656651-t-mobile-usa-carrier-bundles-bluetooth-internet-mms-tethering-2g-3g-3gs-4-a-102.html
3. Do not allow Cydia to do the Essential Upgrade !  -- It seems to make the phone unstable.
4. Run ./Configurator to enable MMS.  Note that the ipcc shows no MMS settings in Settings > Network but you get the camera icon in Messages if the SIM is installed.

I have the same issue! I cannot successfully send/recieve a MMS. I have the camera buttons , the messages app attempts to send , but ALLWAYS fails.

I have the following Celluar Network Data Settings

APN: wap.cingular
Username: [email protected]
Password which is case sensitive: CINGULAR1

MMSC: mmsc.cingular.com
MMS Proxy: 66.209.11.32

what am I doing wrong ?

*The account does have MMS enabled @ AT&T

That's frustrating considering the changelog says that 5.1 includes MMS.  I still haven't made the leap yet but I will let you know what happens when I do.

It does include MMS, but some people have trouble enabling it.
