Backup your Data.

The installation process is safe and tested, but you are doing this at your own risk. For this reason we suggest that you backup your data (our firmwares have include an iCloud-like application to backup your Game saves to dropbox since Whited00r 5), and transfer your applications from the device back to iTunes on your computer by following these simple steps: Right click on your device name in iTunes, select "Backup" and then "Transfer Purchases". You also could use other software like DiskAid to manually backup data, if you prefer. Get 20% off your Diskaid license

We absolutely recommend that you make a clean installation without restoring from the backup you created with the previous instructions, but just keep it just in case you really need it to recover some data. We will not provide support if this rule is not respected.


Download the firmware.

Download the right firmware for your device. If you have an iPhone, please read the information carefully to understand if you need the Normal or Unlocked version of Whited00r. You will find the Whited00r Software Update (.ipsw) inside the downloaded .zip. You also can verify MD5 of the .ipsw with the text file inside the compressed folder.






Installation via iTunes.

Open iTunes on the screen about your device. Click on Restore holding ALT (MacOS) or SHIFT (Windows) at the same time and select the whited00r Software Update (.ipsw) from you computer. Can't you install? Read the Installation Wizard!

Complete the Installation.

After installation (could take up to 15 minutes, reboot the device twice) iTunes will ask you if you want to restore from a backup. Please choose “Set up a new iPhone/iPod” to improve speed and avoid strange problems. Clean installation is better and the the only way to get our support!.

Post Installation.

Your installation is complete and Whited00r is ready to use on your iPhone or iPod Touch. There are some extra, but optional, steps you would like to follow in order to get the best performances and an high customization.
