Winterboard?
« on: March 21, 2011, 10:36:17 PM »
Hi,

I have installed winterboard and while my SMS tones have changed as intended and some elements of the UI have changed, a lot of other things (eg. icons) haven't changed.

What gives? I've used this theme before just fine.

Use "WinterSled" one of our own whited00r techs made it. Its much better than "WinterBoard". Whited00r is not made to work with winterboard. It messes up things.

DreamBoard brought an iPhone 3GS that is used to 90Mb free RAM down to something like 8Mb in my reading. A friend tried it on his 3G and said it was awful.

Is there a how-to wintersled?

Winterboard obviously is compatible as it's working, so can we not have an over reaction please? Are winterboard themes compatible with wintersled?

I just want to change my SMS tones (which winterboard is doing) and a small theme pack to soften the harshness of the standard theme. Most of the elements are changed, just the actual icons haven't.

Uhhhmmm....  I actually took down the link for now, until I can correctly fix/speed up and add more feature.   Thanks for the idea on the SMS btw.  I'll look into that.
I am going to post some older, stable versions later, to keep people happy until the next version.

Here, I hope this works
http://www.mediafire.com/?9sfddaa98hfc2c1
Place in /var/mobile
then as root
Code: [Select]
chmod 775 sled.shthen to run it
Code: [Select]
./sled.shthen follow the instructions on the blog.

Also, same with the inner UI script (my splicing of the two was done when I had a fever, so it was crap):

Ya but i'm sure it'll pay off!
Coding is hard but when your finished the end result make it worth while! :)
Once you release it look at the long line of code and think to your self, I accomplished something great.

Thats why I'm just gonna start from *almost* scratch again to try and make it accept command line arguments, rather than debug, and apply a simple fix :P

Also lets me take out a lot of code if I can get a plist working.
