Cannot install firmware.
« on: March 26, 2011, 10:03:39 PM »
Ive been sitting trying to get my iphone 3g jailbreaked in 3.1.3, with various diffent programs to do it with, but they all end the same way.

I cannot get my iphone to accept any firmware, be it costum or apple, when doing the shift + restore trick. I just get random 16xx errors. Usually 1615 and 1604. After this happens, the ihpone just shows the usbcable pointing to itunes on the display of the device. I managed to get the iphone set to 3.1.3 1 time by mistake, by installing the 3.1.3 firmware, then pressing Restore and removing the cable from the phone after a few seconds, but once i wanted to jailbreak it, it was the same deal.

I can restore the phone to 4.2.1 using the Restore button as it was meant to be used, and everything works.

What do i do? I really want whited00r 4.3 full on my 3G.
