And according to the downloading instruction i need to unzip it first. but there's no ipsw in the zip file. when i just change the name from "zip" to "ipsw" itunes just says it's not computable version (or something similar) when i tried to the restore i DFU mode i had to rejailbreak my iphone.
what am i doing wrong?
I will appreciate any help and explanation

Are you sure it was successfully downloaded? CHeck the file size. it should be some 280MB. I suggest you use a download manager, like DAP. Cheers.

I used to play dead space on my iPhone 2G! Eh maybe it was the older update. Whited00r shall not give your iDevice the ability to play iOS4 apps. You can, however, install the earlier non-iOS4 compatibility update from apptracker.org :p

Whited00r iOS will make your iphone capable of running some ios4 features. Wd ios uses ios3 and so you see ios 3.1.3 .

I followed the instructions and it didn't work.  I did receive the 1600 error in itunes so I went to redsnow which did not recognize the whited00r custom firmware, the only one it would recognize was the 3.1.2 firmware that i had to use to jailbreak and unlock my phone.  If I missed a step maybe you can give me a bit of help on where I messed up.
Thanks,
