Does anyone know if the next version of WD v4.4.2 will be called or WD 5 with the new features like Reminders and stuff? (modded lockinfo and infoshade).

Read my topic about the installation process of Whited00r (doesn't matter if it's iPhone OS 3.1.3 based or iOS 4 based is. My topic works with both of the OS's.)

Sadly no Darlo left without giving us source corder so we cant do anything else with the project

He has done so much for WD, I think it would be an honour for him, that someone takes his project to ''a next level''.

That's why I don't understand he doesn't left us a source code of wallpapers/multitasking/folders.

Could someone maybe get the source code out of the .debs from wallp/multi/folders?

Your iPhone or iPod (1st and 2nd gen.) has a 600 mHz processor in it. But, it's underclocked to 400 mHz to save battery. If you overclock, your processor will run on his full capacitivity (600 mHz) so your iDevice is faster.

I hope you now know what overclocking is.

ps. @Soltmeal, can you PM me your script so I can test it on my iPhone 3G?

It's so sad that Darlo leaved WD.

Can someone else develop his project further?

So you perform a restore offline, so you don't get trouble with apples verification.

Cool  8)

How to install Whited00r without getting any problems and what to do when it's done.

1) Make sure you have the original 3.1.3 firmware on your iDevice.
2) Download the stock 3.1.2 firmware (3.1.2, why? Because you need it later)
3) Download the latest Whited00r for your iDevice. (currently v4.4.1)
4) Download Redsn0w 0.9.4.

First, when you downloaded all te files, open Redsn0w 0.9.4. Click on "browse" and select the 3.1.2 firmware. Follow the steps in Redsn0w and let it jailbreak your iDevice. But, when the screen of your iDevice turns white, quickly unplug your iDevice and close Redsn0w.

Open iTunes. iTunes should come with a pop-up that says that your iDevice is currently in "Save Mode" or "DFU Mode".
If you are on a Windows PC use SHIFT + [CLICK] Restore.
If you are on a Mac use Alt/Option + [CLICK] Restore.
Select the Whited00r firmware ipsw.
iTunes is now installing Whited00r!

When iTunes is done with restoring, select  "setup as a new iDevice".
If you check the other box it will put a backup you've made on your iDevice. But this could contains errors. So I recommend you to do a clean install, so your iDevice will run smooth and fast.

When this is done, swipe to the second page on your iDevice. There's an app called "MobileTerminal". Open it and then follow these steps.

1) Type "su" [ENTER].
2) Type "alpine" [ENTER]
You are now 'inside' your iDevice.
3) Type now "./Configurator". Don't forget the UPPERCASE.
It should launch a script.
4) Follow the script to speed up your iDevice!

When this is done, it will automatically reboot.

Now your done!

Enjoy your fully featured Whited00r firmware!

(Links to the firmwares and Redsn0w will I post later. I'm now on my iPad).
