Title: A Faster Cydia Alternative
Post by: Gawernator on February 25, 2011, 03:37:07 AM
Add this repo: http://apt.ihackmyi.com/ (http://apt.ihackmyi.com/)

Install Icy.  It's a faster, lighter Cydia replacement, if you want it. I like it.

Now that Cydia V1.1.1 is released Icy is pretty useless (even more so)

Remove broken packages with apt-get remove

True. Cydia 1.1.1 is pretty fast. (And if its not fast enough there.... add the Cydia speed up tweak found at the whited00r blog (look under "How to speed up whited00r 4.2)
